Selecting the perfect custom water feature

We understand that the thought of a custom water feature can be scary, an unknown for many, and is also time consuming. If it is your project, you want it to be right! We are here for you. Custom water fountains can get expensive, typically more than the standard fountains you see on our site. You are basically creating a new mold for your water fountain, one that has never been created before. Below are some things to consider when selecting your custom fountain. Selecting the perfect Custom Waterfall:

Space: Consider the space you will be placing the custom water fountain. Do you want the complete space filled or do you want to leave some wall or floor space around the waterfall? We will need the height, width and depth you have to work with.
Style: Are you looking to create a contemporary look or a traditional look? Different materials definately give off different looks. You have a lot of options when it comes to the materials your custom water feature is made of. Copper and stainless steel are very common for the frame for water fountains, stainless steel creates a more contemporary look and copper, a more traditional look. We can also powder coat the frame of your custom fountain almost any color you wish. What do you envision the face of your custom fountain to have? This is where you have many, many options. We can do glass or mirror, colored glass or colored mirror, smooth glass or rippled glass, slate of many color choices, stainless steel or copper screen as well as logos on most.
Manual Fill or Auto Fill: Most custom fountains have the option to add an autofill and drain system. This will eliminate the need for you to add water manually. We see a lot of customers who are having large wall mounted fountains or large floor standing units built want an auto fill. The main advantage of the auto fill is that you will not have to designate someone to fill the fountain each week. It does get a little more expensive and you will need your plumber to hook up the water line to the fountain.
Lighting: Lighting is also usually an option on your custom water feature. Most of our standard large floor standing and wall mounted fountains come with lights. Creating your own custom fountain allows you to do virtually anything with the lighting type, color, how many etc.
Corporate Logo: Do you want a logo on your custom water feature? There are many options available here as well. Depending on the material of your fountain you can go with an etched logo, engraved logo, masked logo or vinyl logo.
Is your custom fountain going outdoors: This is something we need to know up front. Most of our existing wall fountains and floor standing fountains can be converted for outdoor use so we can make virtually any fountain suitable for the outdoors. It is important that we know this as we will need to be sure the pump is rated for outdoor use as well as the fountain may need a "lid" on top to keep debris from getting inside the fountain.
