I truly have enjoyed this fountain! It did take a while for me to "set up" and get the rocks in just the right place to create a peaceful sound. My first pump was a bit noisy and had to replace it (some are just quieter than others). The look is beautiful and I enjoy having it on every single day. It produces a soothing sound of water trickling as if there was a stream or babbling brook somewhere in my house! No splashing either! Remember to check the water levels daily! If it is low on water, the pump is extremely loud. Again, be patient with the rocks and it may take you several attempts of rearranging the rocks to get the "sound" just right.
